“What do you think?” Lil Wayne said. He was standing in the studio with Nicki Minaj.
Nicki tapped her fingernails to her lips. “I dunno, Wayne,” she said. “I mean…”
“What?” Lil Wayne said. He suddenly felt very nervous. He thought the small cross was a nice addition to his tattoos. He added a touch of “badass” to his appearance. He needed it to offset the “I AM MUSIC” tattoo. He was growing old. He thought it was cheesy.
Nicki Minaj stared at the place between Lil Wayne’s eyes. “I dunno,” she said again. “The cross kind of intersects with the C, you know?”
“Just barely,” Lil Wayne said. He furrowed his eyebrows.
“It just— It makes the C look like a dick.”
Lil Wayne’s stomach turned. He whipped around. He couldn’t look at Nicki’s laughing eyes. He ran from the room, down the studio hallway and into the bathroom.
He stared at his reflection. Nicki Minaj was right. He scrubbed his fingers across the tattoos.
He had a dick tattooed on his face.
